Since 2021, OBERMEYER with partner Jiangsu Zhusen has undertaken the architectural design of Xinlong Lake International Financial Plaza (Starry City) in Changzhou High Speed Railway New City [Link]. After five years of intensive efforts, this new landmark building, which integrates living, working, industry-city fusion, and R&D, has emerged and its main structure is now prominently displayed.

Located in the core area of Changzhou High-speed Railway New City, Xinlong Lake International Financial Plaza (Starry City) comprises seven buildings and is the largest complex project currently under construction in Changzhou. Upon completion, It will integrate New City Uyue Plaza, Sofitel Hotel, and a 5A-grade office building, creating a headquarters gathering area characterized by intelligence, ecology, vitality, and sharing. As the first municipal key project in Changzhou’s Xinbei District with an investment exceeding 5 billion yuan, Xinlong Lake International Financial Plaza fills the gap in urban functions in the core area of the High-speed Railway New City with its flagship commercial complex by the lakeside of Xinlong Lake.

Currently, the project has been essentially completed, with the curtain wall construction fully finished. New City Uyue Plaza, covering an area of approximately 150,000 square meters, has been officially occupied.
